TransCoil rigless-deployed ESP system

Save time, lower costs, reduce risk…Improve production and reserve recovery

Description through the inner diameter of the seal stack assembly.

The TransCoil rigless-deployed ESP system deploys
™ The fluid is pressured up by the multistage centrifugal
an inverted ESP on powered coiled tubing up to pump and is produced in the annular space between
12,000 ft in 4½-in. to 9-in. casing with flow rates the ESP and the inside of the tubing string or
up to 18,000 BPD. dedicated liner.

The system allows operators to pull and install

Features
downhole equipment with a readily available and less
costly coiled tubing unit. In mature offshore wells the nnPowered coiled tubing:
system can be installed through 4½-in. production –– Protects power cable from the well environment
tubing, saving the time and money required to pull the –– Supports power cable over the entire
existing completion. deployment length
The electrical connection is the weakest link in an ESP –– Industry standard coiled tubing spread used for
system, and in-well “wet connections” are notoriously deployment and retrieval of ESP system
unreliable and require a rig for retrieval in the event nnBottom intake ESP system
of a failure. By connecting an inverted ESP system –– 3.75-in. and 4.50-in. OD ESP system
directly to powered coiled tubing, the TransCoil system
eliminates the power cable-to-motor connection, as Testing and validation
well as an in-well electrical connection.
nnBending and tensile fatigue testing to validate
The TransCoil system uses an inverted ESP, fitted with reuse of TransCoil powered coiled tubing
a seal stack assembly, deployed inside an existing nnMultiple string tests to validate powered coiled
tubing string or in a dedicated liner. The seal stack
tubing terminations and system operation
assembly is landed inside a previously set packer
nnCoiled tubing connection tests to validate hold in
/ polished bore receptacle assembly. After the ESP
string is landed, the ESP is powered via the powered excess of coiled tubing yield strength
coiled tubing deployment string and fluid is produced
