Responding to and following up on directions from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and in line with the announcement of a Press Release made by the Republic of Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) on Handling and Controlling the Distribution of COVID-19 in the Financial Services Industry, with all respect to all of our Customers and Business Partners, State Bank of Indonesia conveys the following matters:
1. We will be making operational and service adjustments from the Head Office as well as all BNI Branches and Marketing Offices starting Monday, March 23, 2020, until an undetermined date, in order to minimize interaction between people without disrupting banking services to Customers and Business Partners, including but not limited to:
a. Arrangement and application of alternative work from home of each employee, sending soft copy policies and / or other alternatives to support operational activities; b. Postponing all trips out of town and / or abroad, especially to regions and / or countries that have been identified as having the spread of COVID-19 in accordance with data and information from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia; c. Not doing activities that gather a number of people both internal and / or external in the form of socialization, meetings and other activities. d. Prohibition for non-BNI employees to enter BNI offices; The Head Office, all BNI Branches and its Marketing Offices. BNI is going to conduct a rigorous assessment of office visitors.
2. For the time being until the conditions have been declared safe and controlled by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, BNI will use and utilize information technology- based facilities for communication with its Customers and Business Partners. a.
