Class Website: www.mrsharpgeometry.weebly.com - class website will be used to keep students up-to-
date on assignments and events happening in the classroom. There will be a calendar with assignments
included for all students and parents to see due dates.

Grading Policy:
*Grades will be separated and weighted as follows:
Formative Assessments (practice, homework, etc.) - 20%,
Summative Assessments(quizzes, tests, projects) - 70%
Random Act of Kindness - 10%
*I will accept all work for each chapter up until the End of Chapter Test. I will not be accepting work for
that chapter, after we have taken the test. (Ex: All chapter 1 work has to be in by the Chapter 1 Test).
*Grades will be updated every week and can be viewed from home via the Progress Book website
Classwork:
*Missing more than 2 assignments at any time can result in a lunch detention.
**It is strongly recommended that students have a notebook to record notes and file papers.

Chromebooks:
*Students are responsible for all material on Chromebook- use responsibly!
*Students should have their Chromebooks charged and ready to use for each class.

Absences:
*When a student misses, it is their responsibility to find out what they have missed while absent.
*Students will have one day per absence to make up work. If a test or project is missed, the student will
need to see me to schedule a time to make it up.

Calculator:
*We will be using Desmos and a TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator this year. The Desmos calculator is
available online, and the TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator is available as an app on your Chromebook.

*For student convenience, I am available before and after school, during my lunch, and planning periods.
