ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

One activity that I prepared is the Teacher’s Day Program held at the Audio Visual
Room BCNHS on October 14,2019. This activity is chosen due to the popular tradition that
we have held ever since we were in Grade7. I wanted to make this a memorable program for
them.
I chose this activity to show our appreciation and to give thanks to our subject
teachers and SPA mentors. I wanted to give this activity to them to show them that we are
truly thankful for their hard work and dedication in teaching us. This is also serves as an
apology if we ever made them feel angry, mad or sad about our actions and behaviors. I
believe that this will help them continue their endeavors even if they lack the motivation at
some days.
I have implemented this program by first deciding to collect our extra materials from
previous activities to be made into decorations. We simply cut out some colored papers and
pasted them in the AVR for simple decorations. The next step is collecting a small
contribution for the food and additional token for our teachers. The next step is printing out
invitations for teachers. Lastly, after everything was prepared , we passed these invitations
to teachers.
The only problem that I have encountered is the lack of space for all the students to
fit in the AVR with the teachers. This isn’t really a big problem but we have seen it coming. I
just got on with our contingency of backup plan. So, what we decided to do is allow the
officers to be the ones in the room to let the program flow smoothly. It was a good thing we
though of this back up plan.
I successfully implemented this because of my member’s willingness to do this
program for our teachers. This served as our motivation to push through. They also followed
easily because they really wanted this program to be successful.
I managed to use more of the materials we already had than buying something. We
have used old colored papers and other cloths that have been scraps and excess stock from
previous activities we had this had been helpful because we had more money too spend on
food and tokens for teachers.
