WT1151 WT2000 series smart capacitive pressure transmitters have been self-developed and produced
by Welltech through introducing overseas sophisticated equipment and benefiting from the advanced
technology & successful experience of overseas similar products. WT1151 WT2000 adopt international
high quality electronic components and key parts, and are supplied to domestic and overseas customers at
most competitive price popularly.
The guidebook only makes a general introduction of the common characteristics for the WT1151
WT2000 series transmitters, including the model denomination, product series, main features, working
principles, function parameters. For the detailed information, please refer to the Operation Manual of
WT1151 WT2000 series capacitive transmitters.

it is also engaged in such operations as the sensor linearization, resetting measuring range, engineering unit
conversion, damping, square root and sensor trim, as well as diagnosis and digital communication.

A/D signal conversion
D/A convertor changes the digital signal, which have been calibrated by the microprocessor, into the 4
~20mA analog signal and then transfers to the output loop. EEPROM stores all the configurations,
characterization and digital trim data, which could be altered by the transmitter software. The data are stored in
the EEPROM, which ensure it stored completely even if in case of outage.
The digital communication circuit offers the transmitter with a connection interface to outside device (such
as 275 smart hand held communicator or the control system adopting HART protocol). The circuit detects the
digital signal overlapping upon 4 ~20mA signal, and transfers the needed information through the loop. The
communication type adopts frequency shift keying technology FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) and conforms to
Bell 202 standard.

Electro magnetic compatibility (EMC): see Table 7 (for WT2000).
Installation position impact: the working diaphragm not in vertical will result in a zero system error of zero of
no more than 0.24kPa, which could be offset by adjusting zero and bring no impact to span.
Structure material: for the material for such wetted parts as pressure chamber, connector, release valve,
isolating diaphragm etc., please refer to the model and ordering code of different models.

l The electrical housing is low copper aluminum alloy, with the epoxy sprayed coating on surface.
Induced pressure connection: the connecting screws of the pressure chamber are NPT1/4, the connecting screws
of the induced pressure connectors are NPT1/2, and the center distance can be altered by adjusting the
connection block (51, 54, 57mm).
Electrical connection: two screws of M20 1.5 or NPT 1/2 female screws are available on the transmitter
housing to connect the cable duct. Inside the housing, there are cable terminals and measuring shims
offered for testing. For connection with communicator, it could only be connected onto the measuring
shims.
Weight: about 5kg for WT1151 (excluding accessories, except flanged pressure transmitter),
about 3.5kg for WT2000 (excluding accessories, except flanged pressure transmitter).

Sensor adjusting: including the characterization and sensor trim, this enables the electronic part to precisely
reflect the pressure input. Meanwhile, the standard pressure source must be adopted.
l Characterization: although WT1151 WT2000 smart transmitter has been characterized before leaving the
factory, the client can still use this function, to make some simple update for WT1151 analog pressure
transmitter to convert to smart type.
Characterization function: adjusting the electronic part of WT1151 WT2000 smart transmitter to make
sure it reflects the sensor output correctly.
l Sensor trim: the function allows the characterized digital to be micro-adjusted. It affects originally
characterized results. For the detailed information, please refer to the manual.
Analog adjusting: make the digital current valu e of the transmitter be co nsistent with the 4~20mA analog
current of the transmitter.
Note: Please read the manual before implementing the adjusting.

Standard configuration: the goods would be provided according to the following configurations, unless

Special configuration: in addition to the standard configuration data, the clients can also designate the

Warranty
With respect to the failed transmitter due to the inherent quality problem, our company promises
to repair or replace the product free of charge within 18 months after the delivery of the goods on the
premise that the failed transmitter should be sent back to our company. In the case of repairing
and replacing the products out of the warranty period, our company will charge the due cost.

When WT1151 WT2000DP/GP transmitter is equipped with the remote seal it will become WT1151
WT2000DP/GP differential/gage pressure transmitter with remote seal. WT1151 WT2000DP/GP
differential/gage pressure transmitter with remote seal can prevent the isolating diaphragm of the transmitter
from being directly touched with the measured medium. It is applicable to the following situations:
1. The measured medium will bring corrosion to the transmitter connector and the sensitive element;
2. The high temperature medium is necessary to be isolated from the transmitter;
3. There are suspended solid particles in the measured medium or high-viscous, which will easily result in
plugging of transmitter connector and pressure chamber;
4. The measured medium is easy to solidify or crystallize when being induced out by induced pressure
tube;
5.Water flush is needed before the measured medium is changed while the measured medium not allow of
mixing.
6. It is required to maintain the sanitary condition and prevent from pollution.
WT1151 WT2000DP/GP differential/gage pressure transmitter with remote seal combines WT1151
WT2000DP/GP differential/gage pressure transmitter with the remote seal, so it still owns all the characteristics
of WT1151 WT2000DP/GP differential/gage pressure transmitter.
Measuring range is 0~6kPa to 0~7MPa.
Various structual materials are available. The remote seal device adopts the welding structure, which
ensures high reliability. The filled liquid chamber adopts low volume design to reduce the temperature
influence. According to the requirement of the customer, the application temperature for ordinary filled silicon
oil is 40~149 , and for high temperature silicon oil 15~315 . For the details, please refer to Table 26.
The upper limit of working pressure for the remote seal is the rated pressure of the remote seal chosen by
the customer. The working pressure shall not be less than 35kPa (absolute pressure).

The customer may select the material of the sealing gasket of flange at his own option
according to the characteristic of the measured medium. Our company recommends using such
material as asbestos rubber, buna, viton, nylon, or PTFE etc.
