Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?

Study Chemical Engineering, since it is linked to the experience I have, as a


Laboratory Assistant.

2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?

The criticism that I hear the most is the experience, study and skills necessary to
fill the vacancy offered.

3. Tell me about your last position?


My last position was as a laboratory assistant, performing validation and
consolidation of physical samples from patients.

4. What is your work philosophy?

My work philosophy is to carry out work with love, always taking responsibility and
honesty as a moral principle.

5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?

In the last 2 years my professional performance has been very good, I have
worked in various areas of my technical career and I have been able to perform
optimally and effectively.

6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had.

The best professional trainer I had in my technological career, he taught me the


training process and how to act in the workplace.

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?

The most memorable achievements of the laboratory have been consolidating and
administering the samples of 20 patients in 1 hour.

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

Because I want a better job opportunity, where I can perform my position as


Industrial Engineering.

9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better?

To improve the various processes carried out, it takes 2 months to perform the
functions correctly.

10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?

Of course, I am happy because I am doing a beautiful job at the health level, I


want to change to do my degree as an industrial engineer and apply everything I
learned in my career.
