SWORD OF DAMOCLES

IT’S a short story from the ancient Greek. There are mainly two characters king Dionysius and a folk
name Damocles. Damocles doubts the king’s talent and tells him how great is to be in that throne
and says that the king is truly fortunate to have such power and luxury around him. Hearing all this
stuffs king decides to teach this folk a very good lesson and he decides to make him the king for a
day. Damocles was very excited and finally he got to sit upon the throne. Meanwhile, king ordered to
tie a sword above the throne above his head with a single horse hair. After that Damocles begins to
fear so much for his life that he begs king to let him leave the throne. Damocles then learned a
lesson that how much responsibility was there on the shoulder of the king to sit on that throne and
how risky it was.
