Meeting Minutes

A virtual meeting was held on 19 August 2020, among the faculty members of the Department of
Computer Science and Engineering. The meeting was presided over by Head, Department of CSE. The
following issues were discussed and resolved.

Agenda 1: Student Admission Activities for Fall 2020

Resolution: Each faculty member must select potential students from their class and work with them to
increase the number of intakes for the fall 2020 semester. Teachers should inform their respective selected
students' lists to the coordinators.

Agenda 2: Research proposal

Resolution: All faculty members should engage themselves in research works to publish quality articles
in reputed journals. They should submit their research proposals on or before 25 August 2020.

Agenda 3: Tuition Fees collections

Resolution: All teachers should contact their respective advising students and motivate them so that
students clear up their previous dues.

Agenda 4: Tuition fee waiver plan for Admission and updates of the student career development team.

Resolution: Mr. Md. Samsuddoha Alam was asked to prepare a cost sheet and waiver plan info to
distribute it to the faculty members. Mr. Sabbir Ahmed, a newly appointed faculty member, was added
to the career development core team with Mr. Muhammad Samsuddoha Alam and Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin.

Agenda 5: Registration package preparation for Fall 2020

Resolution: Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin and Mr. Muhammad Samsuddoha Alam coordinators of Day and
Evening CSE programs respectively were asked to prepare the registration package for the Fall 2020
semester.

Agenda 6: Outcome-Based Course Design

Resolution: Mr. Mostafa Hasan, a newly appointed faculty member, was assigned to Outcome-Based
Course Design activities.
