DBE Assignment Specification Outlines

(For DBDesign)

1) You must design and develop a database for a sport information system. You may
choose what sport your system is designed for.
2) Possible examples are athletics, tennis, golf, football, cricket, rugby or formula 1
racing.
3) The system should be for a specific international tournament, which may be real or
imagined. For example, if tennis is chosen, it could be for a tournament like
Wimbledon, or something similar.
4) Sample required forms and reports Statistics on results, teams (if applicable) and on
individual players.
- Scoreboards
- Any other realistic reports.

Notification
Choose One Sport for (One specific international tournament) and Create One Database
For example,
Sport Name – Football (Tournament - Premier League)
Database Name - SportDB

Objectives
- To provide information of the activity of sports at a time
- To provide information of the selection activity of the players
- To be able to check any report at any time
