Activity 1

 On the chart below write the rule and 2 examples of each conditional in the 3
forms (affirmative-negative-interrogative with the answer)

CONDITIONAL RULE EXAMPLES EXAMPLES

ZERO CONDITIONAL
we mean is now or always and
the situation is real and possible.
One can speak of general facts.
In type 0 conditional sentences,
the term "if" can usually be
replaced by "when" without
changing the meaning.
-If you heat ice, it melts
-If you don't heat ice it
won't melt
-If you heat ice will it
melt?
-If it rains, the grass
gets wet.
-If it doesn't rain the
grass doesn't get wet

FIRST CONDITIONAL
refers to the present or future
when the situation is real. The
conditional type 1 refers to a
possible condition and its
probable result. "if" adopts the
"simple present" and the main
proposition the "simple future".
-If I have time, I will call
you
-If I don't have time, I'll
call you
-What if I have time to
call you?
-I will visit him if I go to
Paris.
-I will not visit him if I
go to Paris
-What happens if i visit
if i go to paris?

Writing Activity

 Write a short text in 100-150 words.

 Situation: Write about your future plans and what would you do If you
graduate from SENA now.

If I graduated from the Seine now, I would study graphic design or advertising, I would take a short
break and in the meantime I would go on a trip to different places in the world and work in
something that I like and be able to earn good money. I would like to have a beautiful family with
the love of life, I would have 2 children and if I have them, it would be a woman and a man. I want
to have a house, a farm in which I can go to enjoy and I want to have a car, all my property.

Speaking activity

 Record an audio for about 1 minute and talk about the situation you wrote in
your writing activity- It is summary of what you wrote.
