Thesis – Adaptable Mix Use Development (Zero Carbon Emission)

Introduction – Want to develop a mix use by imposing various self-sustainability and farming
concepts in it, as to cater the need of local mediocre occupants and poor occupants. As we all know,
Due to pandemic, most of the poor people and even mediocre are unable to earn money and they
can’t afford to pay their electricity and food bills, which causes serious problems such as
malnutrition and depression. And even If we exclude Pandemic, the lower class family still suffers
while paying bills. So my focus is to create such a mix use typology which can produce its own
electricity and then further can provide it to the suffering people. Also for food, improvisation of
organic farming could be very helpful as the exemption of middlemen would lower down the rates
of sales for people. So, in terms of food they get both the benefits – Fresh food & milk (no mixing)
and lower rates. The best site for this program would be the border of a city and a village, so that the
people who reside in the city and the villagers; both can easily access the location. Also farm to table
concept can be applied on the basis of site selection as various farm activities could be easily done
near the site.
