Farm Resident subsidy housing programme

The farm resident subsidy housing programme addresses those who are
working and residing on farm, housing needs.

There are many challenges that arise. This is due to natural events that occur,
poor municipal functioning and random rural settlement property building.

Municipalities have come up with a plan. The Housing Subsidy’s role is to

live. It also applies to when a town is in distant reach of farmland. This will
solve various problems that might occur due to not having transport for distant
travel.

The Farm Resident Subsidy aims to promote the development of sustainable


human settlements. Through promoting a healthy and safe environment,
employees and employers can have peace of mind. Catering for various farm
residents housing needs, improves the standard of living on farms. The use of
local labour provides job opportunities including less theft at farms.

Funding that gets approved is available to build new housing which is a positive
sign for all farms.

The House Resident Subsidy Housing Programme has many benefits and
provide various solutions to problems that need solving and is a great way to
sustain and promote human settlement development.
