Attitudes to advertising.

Introduction.
The aims of this report are to provide an overview of the most common techniques
used for advertising as well as the beliefs that people have towards
advertisements.
In the final part of this report a series of recommendations are given in order to
improve.
Importance of social media in advertising.
Nowadays social media is one of the biggest platforms to promote anything
someone can imagine, from tangibles; food, makeup, kitchen supplies, to
intangible things such as: courses, movies, conferences or even the daily life of a
celebrity. Wherever is being sold, the key to do it successfully it is how is
advertised.
Most common approaches to advertise in social media.
There are many ways to advertise a product in social media, however the most
relevant are:

 Swipe up stories
 Giveaways
 Posts
 Sponsorships
 Offers

Even though they may seem the same, there are slight differences between them
since Giveaways are most of the time promoted in a post or in a swipe up story,
how ever not all post or stories are giveaways, the same happens with a
Sponsorship, not all of them are offers, nevertheless all offers are sponsorships.
Recommendations.
In the case of a social media advertising campaign is always to take in accountant
that many people are getting tired of this, so always keep them short, DO NOT
expect the users to read a long text in an image or in a post.
Remember that for this environment less is always better, do not hesitate to keep it
simple.
