Adani Enterprises

Adani Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate, headquartered in


Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It was founded by Gautam Adani in 1988 as a commodity
trading business, with the flagship company Adani Enterprises Limited. Gautam
Adani is the chairman.

Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) has a renewable energy portfolio of 2,148 MW in


India. Announcing the scheme of arrangement for demerger of the renewable
power undertaking into AGEL, Adani Enterprises said it would "simplify the
business structure". Pursuant to the demerger, AGEL would be listed on the
BSE and the NSE.

Shares of Adani Enterprises (AEL) will turn ex-date for the proposed demerger,
which will unlock value of its renewable sector business. It will transfer the
renewable power business to Adani Green Energy (AGE), which will be listed
on the bourses later. In lieu of the transfer of assets, AGE will issue 761 shares
of ₹10 each for every 1,000 shares of ₹1 each to the shareholders of AEL.
