MODULE 3B: LEARNING RESOURCES

LESSON 1: LEARNING RESOURCE MAPS FOR DISTANCE LEARNING

ACTIVITY 1.

1. Based on the map, what resources should you have in order to implement the LDM
adopted by your School/Division?
Answer: Online SLM with activities/exercises and printed modules with activity sheets
are the resources to be used in order to implement the LDM adopted by our
School/Division.
2. Do you have the complete resources for the Distance LDM needed in class? If the LRs
are not complete or not available, what steps will you take to make these available?
What are your options to substitute these missing LRs?
Answer: No. We don’t have the complete resources for the Distance Learning Delivery
Mode. We are asked to prepare modules with activities and a video teaching presentation
as a supplement to the missing learning resources.
3. What support will you need to maximize the use of the two DepEd-sanctioned LR
Portals? From whom can you get this support?
Answer: Gadget and financial support for the internet connection to be used to access the
Deped portal. We need the support from DepEd Regions, Division, and Schools.
4. Based on your evaluation of the materials, are they appropriate to the levelNO and
characteristics of learners? Are there learners who might be disadvantaged by the
materials (based on reading ability, level of learning independence, level of household
support, distance)? What adjustments will you make in terms of the LRs?
Answer: Yes, they are appropriate to the level and characteristics of learners. However,
there are learners who might be disadvantaged by their reading ability, level of
independence and level of household support. The adjustment we make is to prepare a
video teaching presentation so the learners could easily understood their lesson.

Answer: Yes, the material was able to meet all the requirements.
2. Were there any questions in the assessment tool where you answered “No” or
“Cannot Be Determined”? What decision will you make on the LR material? Why?
Answer: In question no.2, the answer is No. The video teaching presentation is used
so that it will be easily understood by the learners.

3. Are there other aspects of the material not covered by the tool but still need to be
assessed? Specify which aspect/s?
Answer: None.

4. How does this exercise help you in picking the right and appropriate LRs for your
lesson and your learners?
Answer: It gives us a clear understanding on the appropriate Learning Resources for
our lesson and our learners.

Answer: The two DepEd portals is a good supplement on our Learning Resources and
those of our learners. They both provide useful activities to strengthen the learning
among the students.

2. What are the challenges in accessing the LRs in the portals both for you and your
learners? How will you overcome these challenges?
Answer: Unstable internet connection especially to the remote places. Through the
use of printed learning materials.

3. What support will you need to be able to maximize the use of the LR Portals? From
whom can you get this support?
Answer: Gadget and financial support for the internet connection to be used to access
the Deped portal. We need the support from DepEd Regions, Division, and Schools.

compare with the LR from the DepEd Portal?

Answer: The DepEd Portal is more accessible and relevant because it is connected
to MELCs than the non-DepEd Portal.

2. Based on the results of the Assessment Tool, what improvements do the materials
both from DepEd and Non-DepEd portals — still need?

Answer: The improvement on the materials should be on the adjustment on the

reading level and learning independence of the learners.
