1 Remove Accessories 9 Rinse

Remove sheath. Rinse under running cold water. 60 sec

2 Inspect 10 Ultrasonic Cleaning

Inspect entire camera for damage. Prime and clean in ultrasonic bath. 15 min

3 Prepare Solution 11 Flush

Prepare enzymatic solution (pH 7-11). Flush all ports with pressurized cold water. 2 x 20 sec

4 Prime 12 Final Rinse

Prime primary port with enzymatic solution. Rinse with critical water. 60 sec

5 Soak 13 Inspect
Soak camera and cable. 30 min Inspect entire camera for soil.

6 Flush 14 Leak Test

Flush all ports with pressurized cold water. 2 x 20 sec Submerge tip and use pressurized air. 30 sec

7 Spray 15 Thermal Disinfection (optional)

Submerge and spray areas (holes and wrist). 2 x 30 sec Disinfect per hospital policy.

8 Brush
Brush submerged or under running water. 60 sec

INSTRUMENTS AND STAPLER

1 Remove Accessories 8 Rinse

Remove all accessories before cleaning. Rinse under running cold water. 60 sec

2 Prepare Solution 9 Ultrasonic Cleaning

Prepare enzymatic solution (pH 7-11). Prime and clean in ultrasonic bath. 15 min

3 Prime 10 Flush
Prime primary port with enzymatic solution. Flush ports with pressurized cold water. 20 sec

4 Soak 11 Final Rinse

Soak the device. 30 min Rinse with critical water. 60 sec

5 Flush 12 Inspect
Flush all ports with pressurized cold water. 20 sec Inspect entire device for soil.

6 Spray 13 Thermal Disinfection (optional)

Submerge and spray all areas. 30 sec Disinfect per hospital policy.

7 Brush
Brush submerged or under running cold water. 60 sec

ACCESSORIES GROUP 1
Cannulae, Obturators, Release Kits, Hasson Cone, Instrument Introducers, Gage Pins, Suction Irrigator Kit, etc.

1 Remove Accessories 6 Ultrasonic Cleaning (optional)

Remove all accessories before cleaning. Clean in ultrasonic bath. 15 min

2 Prepare Solution 7 Final Rinse

Prepare enzymatic solution (pH 7-11). Rinse with critical water. 10 sec

3 Soak 8 Inspect
Soak and actuate moving parts. 10 min Inspect entire device for soil.

4 Rinse 9 Thermal Disinfection (optional)

Rinse under running cold water. 20 sec Disinfect per hospital policy.

5 Brush
Brush submerged or under running cold water. 60 sec

ACCESSORIES GROUP 2
Cautery Cord, Stapler Cable, PK Cords, Light Guide Cable, etc.

1 Disconnect Cords or Cables 5 Final Rinse

Disconnect all cords and cables from device. Rinse with critical water. 60 sec

2 Prepare Solution 6 Inspect

Prepare enzymatic solution (pH 7-11). Inspect entire accessory for soil.

3 Wipe 7 Thermal Disinfection (optional)

Wipe thoroughly using enzymatic solution. Disinfect per hospital policy.

4 Brush
Brush submerged or under running cold water. 60 sec
