ASSESSMENT TASK 1

Directions: Express your realizations using no less than 100 words.

1. After listening to the lecture, I have realized that…

A lot of people think that art is running only through paintings, sketches and other
creative artworks. However, the truth is, art almost cover all aspects of our life. Well,
through the definition of art that it is a product of one's creativity, imagination and
expression. We can say that everything we do is considered as an art as long as it is
aligned and bounded by one's creative mind and imagination. Like for example in
dancing, someone can use his/her imaginative mind through dancing where he/she can
express his/herself. Another, upon listening the discussion I have learned that creativity
is not about being impressed or wowed to one's product but it's about authenticity, and
originality.

2. What makes art a product of man’s creativity, imagination, and expression?

A man cannot do a thing without thinking of it, or having an inspiration where ideas are
being formed. Ideas are formed through author's feelings, emotions and perspectives.
As the ideas are formed well, there where creativity falls. Then as the author's
successfully made it, there goes it's product, which called an art - the product of
combined creativity, one's expressions and wide-ranging imagination. Just for example
in cooking, as we cook our everyday food we put a little art on it, to make our dishes not
just to taste good but also to look more presentable.
