• Your name
• The person beside you will then introduce you to the group.
SPOT THE LIE
• In your group, one by one, tell the others two relatively interesting things
about you that are true, and one lie
• *Don’t make the lie too far-fetched, but don’t make it too boring either
• The rest of the group then have to figure out the lie, by asking as many
questions as possible
ONE-SHOT PORTRAIT
• With the pen and paper assigned to you, look at the person beside you and
draw their portrait…
• Or
• Keeping social-distancing rules, how are you going to build the tower?
Inform your teacher – they will take you to a dedicated area until you can be
collected. You should book a test through 111. Once you have your result
you must phone college and inform your tutor of the result. You must stay at
home for the self-isolation period if you have Covid-19 symptoms or until a test
returns negative.
COVID Q AND A
• What happens if someone in my class gets Covid-19?
If a learner contracts Covid-19, the learner must stay at home and contact the
college to give clear details and then go into isolation in accordance with
current Government guidelines. We will inform all the learners in their bubble
group that they too must isolate as per the government guidelines and should
also book a test for themselves.
Unless too sick to do so, learners will be required to study remotely and take
responsibility for liaising with the college about the work needed for their
vocational and English and/or maths if this is part of their educational
programme.
COVID Q AND A
• Who do I contact if I suspect I, or someone in my household is sick?
You first contact 111 as per the Government guidelines and arrange for tests.
You will then need to contact your college curriculum administrator who will
log the details regarding your absence. You will need to state what date you
are self-isolating from and to, so that we can record it on your attendance.
You will need to complete an online form to give us clear details of your
isolation. The details will be given to you in the phone call to the college. If a
member of your household contracts Covid-19, the learner must stay at home
and contact the college to give clear details and then go into isolation in
accordance with current Government guidelines.
COVID Q AND A
• How long do I have to self-isolate?
The rules on this may change according to the Government so we will expect
you to follow those national rules at the time of any self-isolation.
COVID Q AND A
• Can I wear a face covering?
You can see your friends outside of the main building (with social distancing),
but you cannot go into a specific curriculum area building together as you will
need to stay in your own bubble space when inside and not cross-
contaminate into someone else’s safe bubble area.
COVID Q AND A
• Can I go abroad for a holiday?
If you choose to go abroad during a college holiday period but then have to
self- isolate upon your return, again affecting your attendance, then we would
expect 100% engagement remotely and all studies kept up to date, but
again, this lower attendance could affect your progression opportunity at the
end of the year.
