Our first month of school has finally arrived! We are so excited to begin who would like to tune in!

curriculum for this month and some other general reminders. It is
completely normal to have exhausted kiddos the first few weeks of

In reading we will read and discuss several books in addition to other read at once. Please complete all work

characters, and setting. In grammar we will begin to explore nouns and verbs. Monday: SPANISH

We will review numbers 0-10 on a daily basis and focus on number recognition
and one to one correspondence. We will also work through Chapter 1 in our
math text about Sorting/Classifying.

Religion
We will work through Chapters 1 through 3 which focus on different parts of the
Creation story. We will discuss all of the wonderful things God has made. We
will also begin talking about Jesus and his mother Mary. Throughout the year we
will be engaging in various forms of prayer, focus on making the sign of the
cross correctly, and praying reverently.

Science/Social Studies/Seasonal
We will focus our investigations on apples and how they grow. We will also
discuss the scientific skills of observation and making a hypothesis. We will
even do our first science experiment the first week of school! Our Social Studies Other Important
