This document discusses 5 different Tangram puzzles created by applying various geometric transformations to the 7 Tangram shapes. It summarizes each puzzle, noting the specific transformations used such as rotation and reflection. The puzzles include a wolf formed by rotating triangles and other shapes, a shark using mostly reflection, a dog similar to the wolf with rotated shapes, a swan with a rotated triangle for wings, and a basic house puzzle that even children can solve. The document encourages sharing what you have with others as pleasing to God.

TICS IN THE MODERN WORLD CM 2 ACTIVITY #1 CHRISTIAN KYLE S. BELTRAN CIVIL ENGINEERING CE202
1.) WOLF – In this Tangram, I did
apply the types of transformation of shapes, specifically, rotation. It simply means rotating an object about a fixed point without changing its size or shape. The two large triangles in the photo were rotated by 80 degrees, the smaller ones were also rotated by somehow 80 degrees. The square by 30 degrees and the parallelogram by almost 90 degrees vertical. And that’s how I made a Wolf Tangram.
2.) SHARK – The Shark
Tangram was one of the most advanced puzzles out there. This Tangram consists of all the types of Transformations of shapes except for dilation. In this puzzle we can see that reflection is mostly used. Reflection occurs when you flipped an object across a line without changing its size or shape.
3.) DOG – One of my favorite
Tangram to make, the dog Tangram. This puzzle is just like the one that I did in number 1, the “Wolf”. It has so many similarities when it comes to rotation of shapes. When it comes to its tail, the parallelogram was also rotated almost vertical slightly slanted.
4.) SWAN – The easiest out of
them all, the Swan puzzled Tangram. This puzzle also consists the 7 shapes that is needed to make a tangram. As you can see the large pink triangle was rotated counter-clockwise to form the wings of the swan. The small blue triangle represents its head and the other dark blue large triangle makes up most of the body of the swan.
5.) HOUSE – Even a five
years old child can solve this Tangram. This is the most basic tangram out of them all. By means of “basic”, it is because this Tangram was always used in different puzzle games. And also, when we take it literally, a house provides all the basic needs of a human. The house was formed by different size of triangles, square, and also a piece of parallelogram. The roof was formed by a large sized triangle.
“Do not neglect to do GOOD and to SHARE what
you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to GOD.”
