social media provides through sites like YouTube, social media helps
students access mental health and well-being information, which can be
hard to do offline without stigma. However, despite of the positive
things that we can benefit from social media, it can be incredibly
addictive — we all know what it feels like to tell ourselves we’ll only
check our notifications, and before we know it, we’ve been mindlessly

concentrating on their study that lead to decreased their academic
performances.

Voice Over: Now let us move on how the chosen trend affects our
society today.

When the pandemic started way back in early 2020, the mode of
learning was shifted to online learning and I must say social media helps
us to still communicate to other people without physical interaction or
seeing each other regarding group-works, activities and assignments
that help us achieve productiveness.

more engage in unproductive and remove the purpose of the new mode
system by taking an easy way academically instead of putting an effort to
truly learn in the new mode of learning.

How will the chosen trend affect the future? (Danna, De Guzman)
VOICE OVER: Social media and online learning are likely to have a
significant impact on the future in a number of ways. Social media is
likely to continue to shape the way that people interact with each other
and consume news and information.

Online learning is more likely to continue to grow in popularity, as it

provides a convenient and flexible way for people to gain knowledge and
skills. Moreover, it may have an impact on traditional education, as more
and more people choose to take online courses and programs instead of
attending traditional brick-and-mortar schools. Both social media and
online learning have the potential to democratize access to information
and education, making it easier for people to learn and connect with
others regardless of their location or socioeconomic status.
