Instruction for appearing in ASTU BTech Repeaters End Semester Examinations(online)

1. The duration of the examinations will be of 2 hours and of 50 marks. Time of examination will
be 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
2. The mode of examination will be online through Google Classroom and proctoring will be done
through video conferencing applications (Google Meet, ZOOM, Webex, etc). As such, all
students need to install the required applications after due consultation with the concerned
department/faculties.
3. The students need to enroll in the concerned subject Google Classroom with official name
Google IDs.
4. On the day of the examination, the question paper will be uploaded on the respective Google
Classroom at 10:15 AM sharp by concerned faculties.
5. The students must confirm their attendance to the concerned faculty at least 5 minutes prior
to the start of the examination. The attendance can be confirmed by the student in the
chatbox of the video conferencing application.
6. The students need to write answers in their own handwriting in A4 sheets. The cover page of
the sheet will contain students details as given in Annexure I. The second page should contain
Declaration given in Annexure II.
7. Each page of the answer script must contain the date of the examination, Roll no., page no.
and his/her signature without which the pages will not be evaluated.
8. At the end of examination, the students should scan all the answer scripts along with cover
page and declaration and save as a single pdf. The pdf should be renamed as Roll No. (eg.
12345678) and uploaded on google classroom as instructed by the respective faculty.
9. The pdf should be uploaded by 12:45 PM. For very special cases the time may be extended till
1:15 PM at the discretion of the HoD. However, the time of creating the pdf (scanning the
answer scripts) should be before 12:45 pm.

Note: i) Original hard copies of the answer sheets should be preserved to be submitted to the
college once they are functional.

ii) The student will be solely responsible for joining the Google Classroom of respective
subjects (List of Classroom Codes Uploaded on RGU Website), at least a day before the date of
Examination and subsequent appearance in the same.
