Guidelines for conduct of Second Stage Test

Date and Time : 15th Dec,2022 from 12: 30 PM to 01:30 PM (IST)

1) The centre for the test will be your own school.

2) The school should ensure confidentiality and fair conduct of the test without
involving science or mathematics teachers as Invigilator.

3) Arrange 3 desktop or laptops with following specifications:

a) Minimum 4 GB RAM ( Preferable)
b) Broad band connection / Wifi / Datacard / Dongle
c) Adobe Acrobat Reader DC software installed
d) UPS backup for the computers/laptop

4) Identify and allocate one computer (desktop /laptop) for each student who
has been registered for the second stage.

5) Only registered students who have been selected for the second stage are
allowed to appear.

 Procedure to conduct the Computer Based Test

1. Login through the link using LOC credentials

2. After logging through the link, Question Paper (with the option of marking
the answer on screen) for each student in the form of interactive (fillable)
PDF (bilingual in both English and Hindi) can be downloaded through the
link “download QP” at 12:00 noon (IST) on 15th Dec, 2022.

 3. The interactive PDF can be downloaded and saved on the desktop of each
student. Please ensure that the correct PDF is saved on the student desktop.
If you are opening the pdf in browser then click on download button and come
out of browser. Password protected pdf file will be downloaded. At 12:25 PM
the password of pdf file will be displayed on the portal.

4. Come out of the browser, right click on the pdf and then open the pdf through
Enter password taken from portal
After opening the Fillable pdf , the student should verify her/his name printed
on the PDF.

 5. Start attempting the question one by one on the screen. Do not take
print out of question paper or do any manual
work. For rough work , please use blank paper provided by the school.

 6. After completion of the test , the student shall save the PDF using the

icon (or save as option ) available on the top of the pdf .No more
editing shall be allowed. Please note that without saving the document
the data will not be uploaded.

7. After saving the document, the invigilator will upload the final attempted
Question Paper ( which was saved earlier) through the link by 1:45 PM (IST).
School may have to re-login for doing so. File once uploaded

cannot be changed. Uploading of files will not be allowed after
1:45 PM (IST).

After successful uploading following message will come for each student.

 IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. This is a PDF based test.
2. All students have to attempt test on downloaded PDF only.
3. Answers should be marked on screen within the PDF.
4. After Completion of test PDF should be saved.
5. Saved PDF should be uploaded by 1:45 PM(IST).
6. Do not Scan and Upload.
7. Do not print the Question Paper.

NOTE: If you don't follow instructions and deviate from the

procedure, answer sheet of your students may not be
evaluated.
