BENGALI EDUCATION
SOCIETY'S HIGH SCHOOL,
DADAR

T
he Bengali Education Society's
High School, Dadar, celebrated
Teacher's Day through online
classrooms on 5th September. The
students of class X presented a short
program virtually. The contributions
of several students in form of greeting
cards, speeches, poems, songs and
dances were compiled innovatively to
convey their feelings for their teachers.
They appreciated the undaunted spirit
of the teaching fraternity to continue
mentoring the younger generation in
such a challenging situation. One must
highlight, appreciate and acknowledge
the role of students and their parents
in cooperating with the schools in the
process of virtual teaching - learning.
In fact, the students are the motivation
for teachers to upskill themselves in
conducting online classes.
Can a teacher be a teacher without
a student? No! The teacher-taught re-
lationship is a unique one, where the
former is a mentor of the latter and
the latter moulds the former. A lot is
always spoken and written about the
role of a teacher in the student's life.
Equally important is the role of stu-
dent in the teacher's life.
On this Teacher's Day, when the whole nation showers praises and respect for teach-
ers, teachers also owe it to their dear students. A good teacher is the one who can learn
from the students, who can learn with them and learn for them.
