Dear Sir,
The Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic has thrust our community into unknown
territory. As of date, the virus has taken hundreds of lives and has affected
thousands of individuals thereby forcing the government to place the country under
strict quarantine measures.
The Province of Nueva Vizcaya is no exception to the increasing number of cases
affected by said virus. Current quarantine guidelines have resulted in the temporary
closure of businesses, laying-off of employees and food shortage due to loss of
income. While our province is under general community quarantine, the situation
remains uncertain as we are facing a dilemma beyond our control.
In connection with this, the Philippine Councilors League, Nueva Vizcaya Chapter
would like to request your good office for financial assistance to be utilize for the
purchase of 173 boxes (100 capsules per box) of Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C)
to be distributed to all councilors of our respective municipalities of Nueva Vizcaya in
light of their unwavering service in the face of this pandemic and to other needy
constituents of our locality.
