Personal statement for Admission:

My decision to study this course in university of wales is not spontaneous as I came to this
decision after a lot of thought process. My decision to get admission in MBA degree is result of
combination of my interest and work experience. This degree and this subject have become my
need in my profession. I applied these concepts of business management and marketing in
formulation and implementation of various business strategies from time to time and I found it
profitable for my business. Apart of its importance in my profession, creativity is another
element that drove me to decide to peruse business management studies. Novelty of business
idea and researches acts as trigger for me to start a new business. The thought of running a
business and to deal with risks involved in business excites me a lot. My story of cashing
innovative business ideas starts off with reading a book named as “How they started “by David
Lester. My favorite quotation in this book is "If you have had an idea and everyone says it's mad,
that's probably the kind of idea to pursue...". This quotation was enough for me to motivate my
self toward exploration and implementation of several business idea. Factors in my personal life
are also important in my interest buildings. I was living a happy married life from years and was
successfully performing my duties as housewife. But after the birth of my first child my life
observed a positive change as a need arise of a business or some sort of need to give better
facilities to newborn. This was time I decided to go on with business and this decision results in
idea creation process to develop a feasible idea to start of business Pembrokeshire, UK with
small capital. It takes a month to choose feasible and profitable idea to get finalized by my
husband and me. As a result, we decide to start up a cleaning business named as “Altary cleans”.
We got overwhelming response from our client. Primarily we stated domestic cleaning work and
then with in two years we expand our business to Hotels. I read several books about marketing
and customer satisfaction that helped me a lot in customer retention and we became successful in
retention of our valued customers over the year. We also have been active in sponsoring
activities like sponsoring cricket clubs in Pembrokeshire, UK. Now, my husband and me led a
beautiful life along with our three children’s.
This business startup story can also be perceived as success story is stimulus that arose my
interest to peruse my studies in business management degree. I am looking forward to expanding
my knowledge base and experience by studying under MBA degree program from university of
wales.
