We would like to inform you that (“Company”) will be implementing a
redundancy program that will involve series of retrenchment of __________ (___) employees.
Our company is in the business of ____________________________. For
the past several months since the COVID-19 outbreak, our company is experiencing financial difficulties and excess capacity in our dressing plant due to the decline in sales orders. We have explored other options, such us reduction of work week. Unfortunately, our efforts have been unsuccessful. The management was even compelled to close the plant most of the time because of very low demand from our customers.
In order to prevent further losses and to ensure the viability of our
business, the management has decided to implement this redundancy program.
We had already notified individually the employees affected by this
program through written notices that their employment will be terminated effective thirty (30) days from the receipt of the said notice, or on ____________ 2020.
We will also be paying the affected workers the separation pays and all other benefits mandated by law.
