Evidence 5: "the importance of learning a language"

 What communication problem is between the parties?

R / The problem that evidenced in the video with respect to communication was, on the

one hand, the presenters knew absolutely nothing of English and misinterpreted

everything that the artists said, on the other hand the artists understood Spanish but did

not know how to speak it.

 Was the information given by the speakers correct? Justify your answer.

R / the information they gave the speakers was totally incorrect because they did not

really translate what the singers were saying, the presenters were saying words in

Spanish that had nothing to do with the responses of the artists.

 List other similar situations that you know where this problem occurs.

R / similar situations:

 People in the Spanish language trying to sing a song in English without knowing

what it says or how it is pronounced.

 Try to speak another language with improvised pronunciation: "hospitaleición",

"computeición"

 What concludes this situation?

R / I conclude that the knowledge of other languages make us easier the life and the

communication with other people, they give me the necessary tools to open fields in

different situations. In the career that I chose, another language is essential to achieve

good communication with clients and suppliers, and in everyday life I can relate more

easily with different cultures.
