Caution: Start PC with the user who has an administrator.

2-2. Installation of Service Manual data
(1) When you set CD/DVD-ROM into CD/DVD drive, the W/M CD/DVD menu screen (Figure 1) appears
automatically.
Click [Installation] button.

(2) Click "Run Mut3Check.exe" button if the "AutoPlay" dialog box is displayed.

Note:
If W/M CD/DVD menu screen does not appear, you can double-click [SMVCD_KICK.exe] in the CD/
DVD by using explorer. (Refer to Figure 3).

(3) Click "Allow" button if the "User Account Control" dialog box is displayed. Click "Yes" button if the right
"User Account Control" dialog box is displayed.

(4) Dialog box for confirmation of Service Manual data installation (Figure 6) appears.
Click Yes.

(5) MSB installation will be started continuously. Click Yes, if you want to install MSB into the PC.

(6) If MSB version which has been already installed in the PC is the latest, such a dialog box will be displayed.

(7) When the window for completion appears, press OK to complete the operation.

Installation of Service Manual data is completed.

Remarks
MSB version can be confirmed in the System Information screen.

(8) The dialog box for preparation (Figure 11) appears, and then the next dialog box (Figure 12) for welcome
appears.

Start to install Service Manual data. Click Next. (Refer to Figure 12)

(9) Select location for installing the Service Manual data.

Select one of the following options.


a) [Install the DB data and the Service Manual data into a local drive.] (Recommended setting)
Install all data (the DB and the S/M) into a disk drive.
When you browse the S/M data, CD/DVD-ROM is not required.
Select this basically. (except if there is not enough space in a disk drive.)

Go to page 8

b) [Install only the DB data into a local drive.]


Install only the DB data into a disk drive.
In this case, make reference to the S/M data in CD/DVD-ROM.
When you browse the S/M data, CD/DVD-ROM must be set.

Go to page 11.

(a) Select ‘Install the DB data and the Service Manual data into a local drive. ', and click Next. (Refer to
Figure 15)

(b) Make sure that the directory for installation is displayed properly, and click Next.

(c) After copying files (Refer to Figure 17), Setup Status window (Figure 18) appears.

Caution: Just after Setup Status window (Figure 18) is closed, InstallShield Wizard is still
displayed on the task bar. (Refer to Figure 19)
It does not mean PC freezing, so wait for a while.

(d) When the window for completion appears, click Finish.

2-3. Uninstallation of Service Manual data
(1) Click "Configuration" button in "M.U.T.-III Start Screen". (Refer to Figure 27)

(2) Click tab of "Data update". (Refer to Figure 28)

(3) Click "Service manual" button. (Refer to Figure 29)

(4) Click "Service manual to be deleted" button. (Refer to Figure 30)

(5) The list of installed models appears. (Refer to Figure 31)


Click the check boxes of the model to be uninstalled.
Then click Delete button.

(6) The dialog box for confirmation of deletion appears. (Refer to Figure32)
Click OK. When you cancel, click Cancel button.

(7) Returns to the screen of the list of installed models. (Refer to Figure 33)
Complete to delete the selected model.
Click and returns to the Data Update Screen.
