MY JOURNEY TO MANCHESTER

In May, I go to Manchester because my friend has a wedding


party. I speak to my friend about the journey and she gives me
the directi ons. She says that I can travel either by train or by
bus. I choose to go by train because I know that it is quicker and
more comfortable, even though I pay more money. I buy a
return ti cket and I take a train from the Stoke stati on. I spend
about an hour on the train but it is a nice journey. I sit by the
window and read an interesti ng book. The conductor is very
kind and tells me when it is ti me to get off . The train comes on
ti me and I get to Manchester four hours before the wedding. I
go shopping and fi nd a lovely present for my friend. I think it is
a very nice day.
