Drama Standard 5.T.P.7:


Select materials to be used for scenery, properties, costumes, lighting, and sound
effects for informal classroom presentations.

ISTE Technology Standard 6B:


Students create original works or responsibly repurpose or remix digital resources
into new creations.

Learning Goal:
Students learn how to put a sound effect into Cue Lab, to practice playing a sound
cue for a play.

Learning Activity:
- The teacher will demonstrate how to add a sound effect to Cue Lab and
how to play it.
- The students will add a sound effect to Cue Lab, using the photo
explanation as a reference.

How to Integrate Annotated Images in Learning:


- Students will use annotated photos to guide them through adding a sound to Cue Lab.
A. Open up the
internet

B. Go to freesound.org

of your choice. Listen to sounds
by clicking on the play button.
2) When you have chosen your
sound, click on the title.

to Applications. Click
on QLab.

H. Pull up your Finder next to
QLab. In Finder, under
downloads, find your sound
effect.
Then click and drag your sound
effect from the Finder onto the
stripes on QLab.
