This graph illustrates the results of an activity in which five students listed 8
essential things that can be found inside their room, living room and kitchen as also as
it's country of origin.

From the pie chart it is indicated that the majority of the items is produced in
Philippines with 46.66667 percent, while 37.5 percent of the items are made in China
and Japan has 7.5 percent. Moreover the following countries such as Hong Kong, UAE,
Spain, Indonesia, Vietnam, France, Thailand, India, Singapore and Korea have
0.833333 percent.

In conclusion, majority of the items that are made in Philippines are essential
items like clothing, woodworks, dishes and other locally resourced items it is because
Philippines has a large quantity of resources to build these things, many Filipinos are
accustomed with building and producing locally resourced things.

While in terms of technology, gadgets and appliances they are more often made
outside the country particularly in China and Japan because their technology
production capability is much high ended compared to us, Although Philippines is not a
technologically advanced country but we can consider the country is below average with
the amount of technology we have in right now.

Additionally plastic wares and other plastic made items are more common in
China and Japan, because they have more factories that produce plastic than Philippines
however it is shown that a lot of Filipinos support their locally produced items.

In the end we believe that buying locally produced products strengthens


communities. Local purchases keep the wealth in our neighborhoods, increasing the
prosperity for the people around us instead of going to foreign country produced
products Buying local products reduces the fuel necessary to acquire goods for our
homes and businesses.
