INTERVIEW
Interview your surviving grandmother/grandfather, or whoever among your
surviving ancestors, about the family’s treasure/heirloom ( pamana  or
something of value /significance to the family handed down from one
generation to generation).  Ask about the historical significance of that
treasure in your family’s life, especially in the present time. Use these
questions as guide:
Question: What thing can be considered as your family treasure / heirloom?
Answer: My family has this culture or belief that if you put a diamond
around you or in your body it counters mischief and witchcraft and I think
that was our treasure, our belief.
Question: What is the historical significance of this treasure in our family's
life, especially in the present time?
The significance that it gives by our belief is, no history in our family that is
being cursed or “barang”. It also makes our family united and not so “Well
known” in the hometown of my grandparents. It is also an investment that it
can be passed towards future generations.
