STANDARD OPERATING PRACTICES (SOP) FOR THE TOURNAMENT
1. ON ARRIVAL IN GROUND
All players and management should have completed a temperature check on arrival at the ground.
All should be changed ready to warm up and match.
3. BEFORE MATCH WARM UP
The cricket ball is the only object all players may need to touch and cannot be easily cleaned
between contacts.
The management of the cricket ball would be ICC guidelines.
Saliva should not be applied to the ball.
Players and support staff should avoid touching their face.
Players and support staff must have hand sanitizers, or sanitizer wipes, on their person, and
available to use during matches.
5. CRICKET EQUIPMENT
Players should try only using their own equipment and there should be no sharing.
6. DURING THE TOSS
Players and staff should only sit in designated seats, which are widely separated.
Substitute fielders, management staff should maintain social distance
9. FIELD OF PLAY (GROUND)
Social distancing should be maintained by all non-playing staff and personnel on the field of play.
Players and officials on field are not required to wear facemask.
No team huddles and team celebration on the field.
To maintain distance whenever possible, to avoid unnecessary contact with other players.
10. DRINKS BREAK
The 12th man carrying drinks will wash their hands prior to the drinks break.
All players will sanitise their hands whenever possible.
All players must have their own personal water bottle to drink from.
Towels, sunscreen and lip balm should not be shared.
11. AFTER MATCH
Player And Management Need To Self Assess, Any Symptoms/Illness, Responsibility To Inform
And Duty To Stay Isolated Until Cleared.
If suppose Tested Positive, Player Needs To Stay Away From Team For 14 Days And Prove Again
With Negative Report To Join.
It’s A Self Monitoring Situation; Every Player Needs to Take Care of Themselves and Their Fellow
Players.
