“Why do I want to be a Pasig City Scholar?

The pandemic has been worsen day by day. People are now not capable of doing
the things they normally do. Due to covid-19 pandemic, my dad lost his job and My mom
was recently survive covid-19 in Dubai, UAE. If I would be selected as one of the Pasig
city scholars, It will be a big help for our everyday financial needs. Before this pandemic
everything is fine. We’re not rich but we can pay my tuition fee in the form of instalment.
I am now enrolled in our school for the reason of the school let me wrote a promissory
Letter. I older brother and older sister had their own families. I don’t want to stop studying
just because we are not capable of paying tuition anymore. I would like to finish my degree
so I can provide the finances of our family.
I believe I deserve the scholarship because I am a studious person and a leader
With a heart. I am the current student council auditor of our school and has a good grades
that my family can be proud of. Even I have responsibilities as student council auditor, I
didn’t neglected my studies. I promise to not fail our city government, if they will give me
the chance of becoming their one of the scholars. I will continue to work harder, study
harder to achieve my dreams, become successful in life, help our city became a better
place to live in and give my fellow Pasiguenos sustainable life.
Pasig City Scholarship Program would be a big help for college students in Private
Schools like me that is in financial crisis. The virus is inevitable, as long as it is present
we will continue to struggle and so our family did not expect we are going through this
domino effect of the pandemic. The Pasig City Government did a great job in putting all
their efforts in this time of pandemic. It makes me more proud that I am a pasigueno.
Therefore As a daughter of covid-19 survivor, I would like repay the good deeds of
our city in the form of volunteering in any programs of our city that needed work force. As
a former student council auditor of la Consolacion College Pasig, I helped in financing
budgets for the programs that our organization implemented. I am certified leader with
heart that promotes collaboration of ideas and prioritize the needs of my fellow students.
I am an innovative problem solver. Being part of the organization, I am exposed in variety
of problems that each students had and as well as the school. If I could help in a bigger
community that will be one of the biggest accomplishment that I will be proud of.
