2. New Functionality
2.1. Version 1.08.3208 (10.08.07 )
• Scrambling of MPTS services.
• EIT Present/Following Enable/Disable
• NIT regeneration Enable/Disable
• EMM Simulcrypt interface: EMM broadcast.
• PAT/PMT alarms for configured services.
• PMT missing does not cause removal of a configured service.
• Comvenient CA scrambling support
• Simple support for Radio-decoder card.
• IP input source redundancy
• Decoder: AR conversion / WSS according to dtg4.0 standard
• Decoder: Video synch control

handling.

3. Bug fixes
3.1. ASIO – (IPIN,IPOUT,QPSK,ASI)
Version 1.08.xxxx ()
• Removal of multiple ECMs now possible as web page is not continuously updated when a
ECM check box is selected.
Version 1.06.2788(sc2000_branch_mar07)
• Bug fix: Too many services could be listed for QPSK input cards after a reboot.
Version 1.06.2769(sc2000_branch_mar07)
• Bug fix: Allow usage of interface 0 in all internal modules. Could cause the output multicast
to end up as 0.0.0.0.
Version 1.06.2583
• PSI Playout module modify to handle Hot Swap of IP output card.
• Removed extra spaces added by the system when editing the Access Criteria of an ECM.
• Card types now used correctly when presenting relevant alarms to be filtered in the alarm
filter setup page.
Version 1.06.2525
• Some alarms were not cleared when the error condition disappeared.

Version 1.06.2500
• Board controller now uses separate message queue to read current FPGA setup during
boot. Earlier the use of the common queue could cause the brdctrl to crash.
• Update SI process now prevented from entering infinite loop in some cases.
Version 1.06.2366
• PCR PID now configured for services where incoming services have the PCR PID on
separate PID, and where the PCR component is defined as private data.
• PIDS used to be duplicated when signaled as both TTX and VBI.
• EMM’s used to be scrambled when sent through the Scrambler card. This is no longer the
case…
• PSI/SI was not generated for the last output (250), now fixed.
Version 1.06.2320
• ECMG for the second SCS card was listed twice.
• Minor Soap improvements/bug fixes.
Version 1.06.2551
• SNMP agent performance improvement. Used to handle 1 alarm per second only. Now it
processes all alarms on-the-fly.
• Added “Flow-control” on internal PSI message exchanges.
• ASI and QPSK input port enable/disable did not support changing the state of more than
one port at the time. Now fixed.
• New FPGA core with improved CPU communication.
Version 1.06.2205
• NTP server IP address did not allow to be changed. This is now fixed.
• Updated “atvupgrade” script; deletes old outdated system library files before installing
new software.
Version 1.06.2161
• New FPGA version on IPIN and IPOUT which will not deadlock in bit rate overflow
situations.
Version 1.06.xxxx
• Alarm LED and SNMP agent used to get wrong status when an input port was disabled.
WEB, LED and SNMP is now synchronized correctly.
3.2. Scrambler
Ver 1.05.3016
• Supports 64 services
Ver 1.05.3070
• Access criteria’s may now be less than three characters

Ver 1.06.3064
• Alignment error in ECM introduced in release SCS_1.06.3047 now fixed.
Ver 1.06.3038
• Support ECM lengths exceeding one section
4. Known Limitations
4.1. Platform
• For SC2000 scrambler HOT Swap of IP out requires the SCS cards to be dedicated to one
IPout card. If an SCS card serves more than one output services on output-card A will be
affected if output-card B is removed.
• Data PIDS without PCR or with low rate will not be passed through if mapped through as TS
pids.
• Manual PID mapping allows filtering of the PCR PID. This will not work for services from
an IP INPUT card, as the IP input card requires PCR.
• Unicast output not supported…
• Trippel speed supported but may not be dynamically changed during operation.
• ASI output card has a maximum throughput of about 500Mbps.
4.2. Descrambler
Ver 1.06.3037
• Descrambling error on one service may cause a CAM reset, which affects other services
being descrambled on the same CAM.
