This article deals with a very important topic on technologies, so before entering the
topic with the proposed topic we must highlight the importance it has with respect to
economic development from the global scope.

Currently, developed countries are implementing a new production model that is

based on knowledge and innovation, that is, these countries focus their economic
development on the entrepreneurship of innovative companies with technological bases. On
the other hand, the economic growth of South America in recent years, most of it is based
on small businesses, which makes it very entrepreneurial, however, the vast majority lack a
robust technological base, which it slows their economic growth.

In accordance with the above and taking into account this economic panorama,
fortunately in our country we have a human quality that in the midst of so many
deficiencies we always see a new opportunity as is the case of the 43-year-old businessman
from Cali, Orlando Rincon, who leads from En 1998, the so-called technological cluster
called “Parquesoft”, is a very innovative initiative that placed the city of Cali in one of the
most important in the country worldwide, in addition to what it represents in terms of
culture and sports and above all for the national sugar industry, they have called it Silicon
Valley in miniature.
 It empowers all young people, even with limited financial resources, to be part of this
collaborative platform for the creation of knowledge solutions and information
technologies.
It is important to note that this innovative idea by Parquesoft is unique because it is
managed as a great trusted brand in many segments of the economy and that its incubator
companies cover many sectors such as health, education, heavy industry, scientific research
in others, something else to mention is that their businesses are focused on the design of
lower-priced software and it is a great competitive advantage among their clients.

It is quite important to highlight that great work of entrepreneurship and innovation

that Parquesoft has led for a long time, since it allows young people without distinction of
social reason to develop their entrepreneurship and their knowledge to generate new
productive units based on technological bases, recognizing the potential human population
of the region worldwide.
