Introduction

Description:

BSNL provides Intelligent Network (IN) Based services as one of its Service Lines. These include Toll
Free Numbers (Free Phone/ FPH), Universal Access Number (UAN), Televoting and Premium Rate
Services. Calls made to and from these Special Numbers have to be billed at special rates either to
Called Party/ Calling Party/ Combination of Both. Currently CDR systems do not identify IN based
services.

Intelligent Network provides a framework to create various services in a centralized place independent
of the switch. In IN, calls generated by a subscribers are routed (Circuit Switched) to the nearest Service
Switching Points, which in turn , consults, the Service Control Points (SCP) on high speed CCS 7 links
to get the necessary information for further routing of the call. IN Services can be used by subscriber
connected to any type of exchange using existing telephones

Validations:

1)Provisioning of IN Services-For UAN Service Sub type number will be11-13 digit and format should
be1800-XYZ-ABCD-XY(Valid for Sales Order)
2)For Televoting Service Sub type number will be11-13 digit and format should be (1803/1861/1862)-
424- ABCD-XY( Valid for Sales Order)
3)For Tollfree Service Sub type : 11-13 digit and format should be1800-XYZ-ABCD-XY( Valid for Sales
Order)
4)IN order will be allowed only for ACTIVE destination Number.( Valid for Sales Order)
5)IN destination number will not be allowed if the customer is having IPTV and EPABX service(Valid for
both Sales and Service Order)
6)IN order will not be allowed for billing account type PT/VPT/DSPT also destination number will not
allowed for same.(Valid for both Sales and Service Order)
7)CRM shall only allow 5 destination numbers.(Valid for both Sales and Service Order)
8)Restrict shift/transfer orders for IN services.(Valid for both Sales and Service Order)
9)IN destination number is not mandatory for Televoting service.(Valid for both Sales and Service
Order)
10)One IN destination number is mandatory for UAN and Tollfree service from the same Zone.(Valid for
both Sales and Service Order)

Creation of IN Sales Order

a. Login to SAP CRM.


b. In the Sales Cycle a link is provided for Search and Create Intelligent Network.

c. Need to create IN Sales order through Create--------->Intelligent Network.

d.User can enter IN Number:

Note: Validations present for IN Number:

1)Toll Free Number................11-13 digit number(1800-XYZ-ABCD-XY)


2)UAN....................................11-13 digit number(1800-XYZ-ABCD-XY)
3)Televoting...........................11-13 digit number(1803-424- ABCD-XY, 18061/62-424- ABCD-
XY)

d)After entering IN Number need to provide its Service Subtype on the basis of which IN
Plan will come

e)Before Save need to enter atleast one destination number.After entering destination
number when we save the data it will give a pop-up as below.

Note: Incase of Televoting Service no destination number is mandatory.

Note: For Toll free and UAN destination number is mandatory but for Televoting destination
number is not mandatory.

f)If selected Yes we need to enter the BA and if selected NO same CA,BA will be saved.

Note: Only BA field will be enabled ,if we enter BA ,CA will automatically fetched out.

g)If pop-up selected No ,CA and BA of the destination number will be populated.
Need to generate demand note after that

h)Demand Note generation is shown below:

Note: 1)Based on the deposit amount present for the plan the amount of demand note will be
reflected.

2)As the below Order has demand note of 0 after saving it will be directly assigned to ROI.

3)If the amount is present in demand note it will take first payment from PMS then it will be
Assigned to ROI.

i)Login with ROI Role

j)ROI can Approve and Reject the Order

k)After Approval from ROI the screen will display as

l)We can search the IN Sales Order from Intelligent Network Search Option.We can search
by IN Sales Order id,Billing Account ,IN Number.

m)We can see the status of the order:

n)IN Sales Order gets completed and its Ibase is generated.We can search its IBASE by

IN Service Order Creation:

1)There are 2 ways to create Service order:


a)By directly going through Create Service Order
b)By going through Ibase Screen.

m)By directly going through Create Service Order

n)We enter IN Number and select

Service Type---->IN
Order Type------>Modify
Order SubType----->Change of Plan and Destination Number Change

Note: Same screen will come when we create service order by use of Modify button in IBASE
screen.

o)We are creating order for Change of Plan.A list of plan related with service will come and
we will select it to display it.

p)Order first be Saved and then Submit button is selected ,it will assign to ROI.

q) ROI will approve the order.

r)Ibase of the IN Number will be updated with the New Plan

s)Creation of Destination Number Change Order:

Note: 1)We can add and delete destination numbers.


2)Need to select status as ADD/DELETE.
3)Maximum 5 destination numbers are allowed.
4)Destination Numbers can be of same zone and of different zone but for UAN and
TOLLFREE one destination number is mandatory.

t)After Save and Submit Order will be assigned to ROI.

u)After Approval from ROI new destination number will be updated on the IN IBASE.

v)Selecting Disconnect Button from IN IBASE .

w)We will save and submit the order,the order will be assigned to ROI.

x)When ROI will Approve the Order IN will be disconnected.

1)Technical Complaints:

a)Enter the Telephone number as IN Number and select Complaint Type as Technical.

b)After Save the order will be assigned to ROI.

Creation Of Billing Complaint:::::::::::::::::

a)User will enter IN Number and select the

Complaint Type------->Billing

b)After Saving the Billing Complaint it will be Assigned to AOTR for Approval and
AOTR will enter the adjustment amount and adjustment id(similar to normal Billing
Complaints flow)
