A guide to successfully configure an ImagePilot Server, and Image Pilot Client (KM Sup-
plied and Customer Supplied PC).

I. Regius 110 Preparations

Please follow the unpacking instructions of the Regius 110 Installation Manual.

Remove the 6 red shipping brackets.

Set the power supply to the 120v tap using the red tap plug that is supplied in the
accessory bag.

Power up the Regius 110. When it finishes its self-check, it will display a network
error. The default IP address of DST:192.168.20.170 and SRC:192.168.20.90 will
also be displayed.

II. Image Pilot Server Preparations

Unpack the ImagePilot server.

Connect the mouse and the keyboard into any free USB slot on the back of the
server.

Connect the white DVI connector into one of the two connectors on the video card.

Connect the UPS to power and turn on; please wait at least 15 minutes to confirm
UPS is charging.

Connect the monitor and server power into the UPS.

Please refer to the diagram below for connections.

Do not connect network cable to LAN until instructed to do so.

NAS
The NAS hardware must configured first and present on the network in order
to proceed with the NAS settings.
The NAS screen may differ if the site is using a backup NAS and expanded
NAS.
The default IP Addresses for the Backup NAS (192.168.20.133) and for the
Expanded NAS (192.168.20.134)
The default share folder for the Backup NAS (kim_nas1) and for the Ex-
panded NAS (kim_nas2); Please use (kim_nas1) for both the backup and
extension NAS shared folders.

When prompted, enter 2923 for the password.

1. Double click on the icon in the system tray of the ImagePilot.

8. Double click on ―Ch. 1‖.

9. Fill in the following fields for the Imager Channel 1 screen:


Channel Name– (Name of the Printer, ex. DP771)
Protocol Name-DICOM PRINT OUT

Select– Choose make and model, ex. Konica Minolta/DP771
AE Title SCP- (Customize to Printer AE Title)

11. Select [Exit] on the maintenance screen of the PL5. The PL5 will reboot and run in the background.

Items needed for configuring Remote Maintenance on the Image Pilot Server:

RemoteINN2.exe R2 and VNC Installer

Summary
RemoteINN2.exe installs R2 and VNC onto CS-1, CS-2, CS-3, ImagePilot and
Printlink 5. It sets the VNC password and updates the hosts file on all the above
systems.
Additionally, on CS-1 it installs msxml4-KB927978-enu.exe. On CS-2 and CS-3 it
deletes the IA_Start_S.bat and updates the RemoteSvrE.ini file. On Printlink 5 it
shares the Mainte_Tool directory and copies all the dll’s from …\Plnk6\SYSTEM32 to
C:\windows\system32.
Finally, on all systems port 443 is checked to see if it is open or not.

Instructions
1. Copy RemoteINN2.exe onto a USB thumb drive.
2. Insert the thumb drive into the system that needs R2 and VNC installed.
3. Double click on RemoteINN2.exe.
4. Do not change the Unzip to dir: from the default of C:\windows\system32.
Click on Unzip to start the installation process.

Upon select Unzip, the following screen will appear:

TCP/IP port 443 will then be checked.

6. If port 443 is open then you will see this screen.

If you would like to restart the PC then press y and then enter. Otherwise press n
and enter.

ERRORs
If any problems are detected during the installation process the green
“RemoteINN2 completed successfully!” screen will be replaced with a red failure
screen similar to the one below. Only the problems detected will be displayed.

If connectivity using TCP/IP port 443 fails then the following screen will be
displayed. At this point you should check network connectivity, especially WAN.

Setting the R2 Module


1)Next step is R2 module setting from specific maintenance
tool.
After installation is done, Click [Start] on the lower left on the
screen.
Select [R2], and then Click [AgentMaintenance] in the displayed
menu field.

2)Key-in ―krems‖ in the column for ―Password‖, and Click [OK] on Login dialog.

3)Following screen appears, Select [Windows] and Click [OK] on Select OS dialog.

4)After maintenance tool is executed, Click [OK] in


the ―Do you wish to install the R2 Agent?‖ dialog.

5)Following screen appears, and some files are cop-


ied to the machine.
Just wait for a while until it is finished.

7)Input the Customer ID (200XXXX) under ―Please


input Customer ID‖. This will fill CUSTOMER_ID
Click the [↓].

8)From ―R2_ROOT‖ column to ―MACADDRESS‖


column; DO NOT change the original setting here.
Click the [↓].

9)Input All Information fields for the customer, Click the [Next].
Please pay close attention when inputing the information, misspelling and case will cause multi-
ple registrations of systems on Questra.

If the customer is part of a GPO please include this.

Use Subgroup for Dealer Information (If KMMI Sale please input that)

If you want to change previous setting, please Click the [↑].

Installing Templates for Referrals and Reports:

1. The ImagePilot has two referral forms installed automatically.


2. To load new referrals or reports, the templates must be uploaded first to the ImagePilot hard
drive.
3. Copy and paste referrals in the following folder:
D:\konicaminolta\kim\server\env\WordModeFile\DocReferral
4. Copy and paste reports in the following folder:
D:\konicaminolta\kim\server\env\WordModeFile\Report
5. In service tools under 1234 or 5678, select [EDIT] for Introduction template settings and
Report template settings.

6. To install the uploaded template, click on [SELECT]. This will open to the correct location.
7. Doublclick on the file.
8. The new file will appear in the box below. Select [REGISTER].
