[1] Natalia Obolensky started her company BeWell

when she was a student at university. BeWell is an innovative
company that provides beauty and well-being services at
companies in London. “My business is a partnership and we
work as a team to provide the best services to our clients in their
own workplace. By bringing these services into the office, we
are able to help employees save time, money and stress! We
have made the workplace more relaxing for them,” says Natalia.
[2] BeWell offers different services such as massage,
food coaching, yoga classes, haircuts and manicure.
These services are offered at no financial cost to the hosting
company; it is the employees who pay for the services
themselves. They can manage all bookings and payments online,
so there is no administrative burden. BeWell requires only a working space from the hosting company, but
they are flexible and they can use any space available.
[3] To get her business started, Natalia decided to get into social media like Facebook and Twitter.
“The most effective way to raise awareness of our business and to get more customers has been social
media. In today’s world, where everything is online, it’s a huge handicap not to be familiar with the use of
technology,” says Natalia. Once Natalia saw the success of her idea, she started a website to inform clients
about her company’s services. She also hands out business cards to tell people about the new business
whenever there’s an opportunity for that. To promote her business, Natalia attends all well-being and
fashion events.
[4] “At the beginning, the biggest challenge we faced was that we had to do all the paperwork
ourselves. The freedom to be your own boss means that you have to deal with difficult situations, but also to
be flexible and to make sure you don’t risk your personal life or relations. What’s interesting about being
your own boss is that you are in charge of every little detail,” says Natalia.
[5] After years of its first launch, BeWell has grown up to become a leading company in cosmetics.
Its services have extended beyond the UK. Thanks to the efforts of a devoted and talented woman, the
company has now branches in other countries. It started small with only 10 employees but now it employs
hundreds worldwide. Women entrepreneurs can achieve a lot if they are in a supportive environment.
