Trustmoore has a dedicated team that supports clients
that are or intend to become active in the field of
Alternative Investments. We are proud of the personal
and excellent services that are delivered through our
highly skilled and experienced staff.

Our clients are mainly asset managers that are active in

a wide range of asset classes including alternative asset
classes such as Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real
Estate and (Mezzanine) Debt. Our client base increasingly
includes wealthy individuals and Family Offices, who are
focusing on alternative investments in their portfolio.

From five of our offices we support our clients
with selecting and implementing the best fund
structure, and by providing a wide range of
operational services such as accounting,
corporate secretary, directorship, transfer agency
and compliance. We also have an extensive
network of professional parties with whom we
have built trustworthy partnerships. Our
experienced partners are specialised in one of
the following areas of expertise: legal advice,
regulatory advice, independent directorships,
tax and corporate structuring for the alternative
investment industry, as well as capital
introductions and other fund-related services.

OUR TEAM
Our Fund Services team combines various
backgrounds, ranging from legal practice and
fund administration to investment banking and
investment management. Trustmoore currently
has Fund Services specialists in our offices in
Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Malta, Curaçao
and Singapore. These teams are dedicated to
servicing the alternative investments industry
and interact cross-border.
OUR JURISDICTIONS
Luxembourg
Funds generally use one of the following
vehicles: SIF, SICAR, SCS/SCSp, Securitisation
Vehicle and the RAIF (new structure approved by
Luxembourg parliament on the 14th of July
2016). Our focus and expertise in Luxembourg
covers a broad range of alternative investment
asset classes.
The Netherlands
Dutch alternative investment funds are generally
structured by using common legal entities and
partnerships, such as BV’s and CV’s. From our
Amsterdam offices we specialise in Real Estate,
Private Equity and Venture Capital.
Curaçao
Curaçao is known as the location of many of the
early hedgefunds and is still regarded as one of
the jurisdictions that delivers the highest level of
fund administration services. Funds are generally
structured using (tax exempt) BV’s and NV’s,
Limited Partnerships or Trusts. We can service a
range of assets classes from our Curaçao offices.
Singapore
A stable economic and political environment
make Singapore a choice location for setting up
fund management operations focused on
investments in Asia, particularly India and
Southeast Asia. In Singapore we can service a
range of asset classes.

Malta
The most common funds in Malta include the
Professional Investor Fund (PIF), the Alternative
Investment Fund (AIF) and the recently
introduced Notified Alternative Investment Fund
(NAIF). In general, funds can be set-up as open
or closed ended investment company (SICAV or
INVCO), Cell Company, limited partnership,
contractual fund or unit trust. Our focus in Malta
is on a broad range of asset classes.
