WHAT IS COVID-19?

(1) COVID-19 is part of the “Coronavirus” family. The name of the virus is similar to a “Crown”. (2) “Crown” in
Spanish is “Corona”. (3) “Coronavirus” only affected animals in the past, but it mutated. (4) The new mutation
affects humans. (5) The new virus is COVID-19. COVID-19 incubates in the human body for 14 to 15 days. Usually
no symptoms appear. (6) Our immune system fights COVID-19 to protect our bodies. (7) During this fight, you can
have fever, feel tired, cough and have difficulty breathing. If you have the symptoms, call COVID-19 emergency. In
Peru, the number is 113. (8) COVID-19 affects especially vulnerable people like our grandparents. Let’s protect
them and stay home!
