Vessel operation at time of inspection Operation

The above named inspector from PT. Makara Jaya Marine carried out the survey on the 07th August 2020 whilst the unit was,conducted
Seismic operation at Offshore Balongan X-Ray field, West Java, Indonesia.

The “VOYAGER EXPLORER” is a Seismic Vessel, which was built by Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd, in 2005 and registered in
Jakarta and is classed by American Bureau of shipping (ABS) and Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia
(B.K.I). All Ship's Trading certificates were noted as valid.

HULL
The hull was observed in a satisfactory condition with no signs of indentations worthy of note.

MACHINERY
The unit was fitted with 2 x main engine of Caterpillar 3516B DITA 1,566 kW @1,600 RPM and 3 x Caterpillar diesel generator developing 383
kW each with 2 x Leroy Somer Alternator of 450 kW.

EQUIPMENT
Seismic survey equipment comprised of 2 x high pressure air compressor with output pressure of 3,000 psi, 6 x air gun cable winches with 6
air guns, streamer reels including tow points were fitted on the back/aft deck plus numerous
hydraulic winches for deployment / recovery arrangement.

LIFE-SAVING/FIRE-FIGHTING EQUIPMENT
In general, the Lifesaving and Fire-fighting equipment was adequately provided for the vessel’s type and operation.

ACCOMMODATION/HOUSEKEEPING
In general, cleanliness and sanitation were satisfactorily maintained in the cabins, toilets and wash places, galley, food stores, alleyways and
mess room, with no signs of insect or cockroach infestation, whilst Deck store, Engine store and
Hospital were noted as tidy.

MANNING
The vessel is sufficiently manned by 24 experienced crewmembers including the Master. Crew’s certificates were reviewed and found all in
order.
