Does it
function to reproduce/maintain the status quo or challenge it?

For me, I choose the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” played by Will Smith and his son Jayden Smith,
based on a true story of Chris Gardner. The movie is about following your dreams, desire and goals in
life. Showing that you might sometimes not actually achieved the real or final happiness that you want
in life, but it is about a goal to pursuit, an action to achieve what you really want in your life.

Life in the real world is really hard, some people have better options and some have less and none, but
having the consistency, being diligent and hard-working, challenging yourself to be a better version of
yourself, pushing yourself through the limits, having a clear vision on what you want to achieve and
always having a positive outlook in life even though it’s hard and impossible can help you achieve what
you want in life, can help you pursue your dreams and happiness in the end. The movie is function to
reproduce to tell the society to do what’s needed, the grind that is a must in order to fulfill that
happiness that we want in life.
