experience and qualifications demonstrate an unwavering commitment and level of experience you will
struggle to find from other potential candidates.

I firmly believe I have learned many transferrable skills throughout my career, namely, being able to
communicate effectively with others and an appreciation of maintaining positive and meaningful
relationships with staff and customers, providing the best quality service possible. Working as a deputy
manager has provided me with invaluable insight into providing a bespoke, ‘all through’ customer
service style, listening and discussing how best to meet the needs of the individual. Moreover, my
experience in leading a fully compliant installation and sales team as regards legislation and best
practice, is proof that I am fully conversant with safety and prioritizing the safety of customers and staff.
Having recently passed safety critical tests with OPC in interview for a Conductors role with First
Transpennine Express, this demonstrates that I am amply able to perform exceedingly well in this safety-
critical role. Moreover, my time spent as a shift manager at Pizza Hut and various schools in Blackpool
has prepared me deal with ‘difficult’ customers, protecting others and de-escalation and performing
duties in line with procedure.

Adaptable, positive and resilient are three adjectives that I would use to describe myself, all attributes
that are imperative working in the railway industry. Having been a customer Cross Country for many
years, I feel perfectly equipped to be on the front line listening to and assisting your passengers.
