APPROVING THE SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 9 OF THE PROVINCE OF LA UNION
INVOLVING A TOTAL APPROPRIATION OF EIGHT MILLION NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-
NINE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-THREE PESOS 18/100 ONLY (PHP
8,969,893.18) FOR THE SALARIES, WAGES AND OTHER BENEFITS FOR EMPLOYEES OF
THE DIFFERENT HOSPITALS IN THE PROVINCE OF LA UNION FOR CY 2020

WHEREAS, considered by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan is an urgent letter of

Honorable Governor Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III requesting before the August
Body the approval of Supplemental Budget 9 in the amount of Eight Million Nine Hundred Sixty-
Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-Three Pesos 18/100 Only (Php 8,969,893.18) for the
salaries, wages and other benefits for employees of the different hospitals in the Province of La
Union for CY 2020;

WHEREAS, the existing appropriation for Calendar Year is not enough to cover the
payment of salaries, wages and other benefits of the employees of the different hospitals of the
PGLU, hence, this request;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Francisco Paolo P. Ortega V, unanimously

seconded;

THE SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN IN SESSION DULY ASSEMBLED:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to enact.

APPROVING THE SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 9 OF THE PROVINCE OF LA UNION

INVOLVING A TOTAL APPROPRIATION OF EIGHT MILLION NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-NINE

THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-THREE PESOS 18/100 ONLY (PHP 8,969,893.18)

FOR THE SALARIES, WAGES AND OTHER BENEFITS FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE
DIFFERENT HOSPITALS IN THE PROVINCE OF LA UNION FOR CY 2020.

SECTION 1. Supplemental Budget. The amount of Eight Million Nine Hundred Sixty-
Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-Three Pesos 18/100 Only (Php 8,969,893.18) is hereby
appropriated for the salaries, wages and other benefits for employees of the different hospitals
of the PGLU.

SECTION 2. Sources of Fund. The funds for Supplemental Budget No. 9 in the total
amount of Eight Million Nine Hundred Sixty-Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-Three Pesos
18/100 Only (Php 8,969,893.18) shall be sourced out from the PS savings

SECTION 3. Fund Utilization. The utilization of these funds shall be subject to pertinent
laws, and existing budgeting, accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. Effectivity. This Appropriation Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
