1)What are the differences between a pandemic in the past from a pandemic today?
Ans. Firstly, whenever any disease spread all over the world it makes worst affect on
population of the countries weather it is happened in past or in present. If I talk about
present pandemic disease that is COVID-19 it affect the almost all countries in a
economically or physically manner because due to this pandemic many people died in
current year and along with that many industries stop their manufacturing or production
in the measures of COVID-19 so that this disease not spread among the individuals also
by taking this prevention millions of individuals lost their jobs because industries have no
longer need of as much staff as they had before this crisis. Moreover at one time during
the COVID-19 whole world was stopped to do work and ministries of every countries
were announced lockdown so that people do not meet to each other to prevent this
disease whereas, this thing never happened before in the past pandemic diseases. In past
people face many difficulties as well but like whole world stop to do work at one time
this never happened.

2)During the current COVID-19 crisis, what are the of industries that might benefit
From it? List 3 types and explain?
Ans. There are 3 major industries those are least affected by COVID-19 and took benefit
from it.
1)Health insurance industries: During the COVID-19 many industries affected by it but
some of them least affected such as Health care Insurance industries because in this crisis
those people were not had their health care insurance plans even they got the
memberships due to the fear of COVID-19 and which help the Insurance industries to
lead their sales higher as compared to other industries.
2)IT industries: The another industry which affected least as compare to production,
supply chain or sales industries that is IT industry. Even in this crisis many people create
their own IT startups. Moreover in this time many IT industries take benefit out of this
pandemic situation For instance Zoom, Google meet, code-tantra etc. Because some of
these IT platform are highly used by the student to attend online classes in this pandemic
situation.
3)pharma industries: The last but not least industry affected by COVID-19 is Pharma
industry because this disease is spread over whole globe and millions of people affected
by this disease which also increase the supply of medicines to cure them. Moreover many
pharma industries start to manufacturing face-shields or hand sanitizers so that people
could prevent this disease as much as possible.

3) During the current COVID-19 crisis, what are the industries that might be
Harmed from it? List 3 types and explain?
Ans. Well many industries affected by COVID-19 but some of them following are those
affected most
1)Airline industry: The Airline industry affected a lot during this pandemic situation
because all countries were create their travel restriction to travel from one place to
another and for this reason many Airlines not operated for a long time and for same thing
Airlines make unemployed to their workers which included pilots as well. Moreover
people not travel this time and Airlines faces loss too much.
2)Manufacturing industries: Many manufacturing industries face this difficult crisis
because due to the restrictions of government all industries were stopped their
manufacturing even china face high loss in manufacturing sector which leads to the
world to export their manufacture products.
3) Casino & Gaming: The another industry which affected most in COVID_19 is Casino
& Gaming because of the postponement of sporting events, including the Summer
Olympics; and all this happen due to the the introduction of social distancing measures.

4) How does the current crisis can affect global industries? Give at least 1 example
of an aspect of global marketing that will be influencing.
Ans. According to the recent crisis global industries can affected in many ways such as
exporting
the things from one country to another by doing manufacturing and if industries will not do
manufacturing then country can be survive in enconomy crisis. Moreover, as per the recent
analysis of affected production industries more than 13.5% china production has been fallen in
previous months and it can also cause to other countries those get supply from china because
china is the leading country in manufacturing and if it does not do production then obviously
other
countries will survive economy crisis as well. For example: due to the unemployment most of
the people will loss their jobs because of less production or demand industries need less staff
also industries will not able to pay monthly wages to their employees because industries will not
make as much profit as they were making before the recent crisis.

5) List 3 governmental actions taken in response to the current crisis that affect global
marketing.
Ans. 1)Travel restrictions: The most major action taken by government authorities is travel
restrictions and which affected most global marketing because exporters not able to export
their
products from one nation to another.
2)lockdown: The another action taken by government is lockdown toward their countries
which
affected most to the sales industries because during the lockdown people can’t came outside
from
their homes and in this case how it is possible to get sales from the customers if they not come
out from their homes
3)Educational impact: Due to the recent crisis many people loss their jobs and some of them
have no other source of income but still educational institutes get fees’es from student parents
which cause poverty in people because if people will pay feeses they will left with no money
then how they can survive and this thing happened in globally.

6) Explain why countries with close economic links to China are being hurt. What
important aspect of the Chinese economy has been affected to cause it?
Ans. The reason behind that because China is the most leading country in manufacturing low
cost
consumer product and machinery etc. in the world and due to this China economy always grow
from last decades. which also shows china has largest economy in the world. But from last few
months due to COVID-19 China stop exporting or manufacturing the thing also thing thing
shows
a big loss in china economy and recent survey shows that china contribute almost 17.3% GDP
toward the world. Which is a huge proportion itself. And according to this GDP size if China
economy slowdown then whole world will suffer from economy crisis as well because since
this
COVID-19 start spreading china shut down everything which include retail store,
manufacturing,
traveling etc. So that people could prevent itself from COVID infection.
7)How does the relationship between the economy and the energy sector work and how
is it being affected?
Ans. Energy is a production input in economic science. Furthermore, it creates budget
revenue in energy exporting countries. All countries need energy for social matters such as
transportation. Moreover, energy has a high positive relationship with economy. Because the
relationship between both economy and energy is linked. but the strength of that link varies
among regions and their stages of economic development. The state of economic
development and the standard of living of individuals in a given region strongly influence the
link between economic growth and energy demand. Advanced economies with high living
standards have a relatively high level of energy use per capita, but they also tend to be
economies where per capita energy use is stable or changes very slowly. In industrialized
countries, there is a high penetration rate of modern appliances and motorized personal
transportation equipments. Despite that the effect of energy on economic development in
developing economies, is, many low-income economies are predominantly agrarian. Much of
their energy services are provided through muscular effort of human and animal power,
which is not included in energy sta- tistics. Similarly, a great deal of the heating, either for
cooking or warming space and water, is fueled using biomass, which is also omitted from
most estimates of energy use.
