1. In what does man’s salvation consist?

A: Man’s salvation consists in dying in the state of Grace, byhaving received the
forgiveness of sins, and obeying God’s commandments. This requires Faith in Our
Lord Jesus Christ, the 2nd Person of the Blessed Trinity, and in all the truths He
committed to His Church to teach.

2. What is the Catholic Church?

A: The Catholic Church is the Church founded by Christ upon St. Peter. It contains all
those who believe in the truths Christ taught, who share in the sacraments He
instituted and who are governed by the lawful successors of the Apostles. Christ
gave His Church alone the authority to teach all nations and 7 Sacraments to sanctify
them. At Pentecost He sent the Holy Spirit to His Church to remain with it and to
assist it in saving souls. Only those who belong to the Church, at least by desire, can
be saved.

3. What is sin?

A: Sin is any willful thought, word, deed or omission, contrary to the law of God.
Original sin was the sin of our first parents and it stains our soul at birth. Actual sin
is our personal sin and there are two kinds. Mortal sin, which causes the soul, if not
forgiven, to go to Hell, and Venial sin, which must be expiated for here or in
purgatory.

birth and all actual sins, and makes us the children of God and heirs of heaven.

7. How does Baptism make us sons of Mary?

A: Baptism makes us the children of Mary by making us the members of the Mystical
Body of Christ. Baptism gives us the life of Grace that unites us to Jesus Christ. When
we are united to Jesus, we are automatically made co-heirs of Our Lord Jesus Christ
and consequently co-sons of Mary
8. What is the Sacrament of Confirmation?

A: The Sacrament of Confirmation is the Sacrament whereby we receive the Holy

Ghost in a special manner to become perfect Christians and soldiers of Christ. This
sacrament is necessary because many enemies surround the Christian soul and
attack the Catholic Church.

9. What is the Sacrament of Confession?

A: The Sacrament of Confession, also called Penance, is the Sacrament by which sins
committed after Baptism are forgiven through the absolution of the Priest, when we
confess entirely and with true contrition. Contrition is true sorrow for our sins
because we have offended God and we wish to avoid His punishments, with firm
purpose of amendment and resolve to sin no more.

10. What is the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist?

A: The Holy Eucharist is the sacrament of the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus
Christ under the appearances of bread and wine. Jesus Christ gave the Church this
Sacrament at the Last Supper when He made His Apostles the first Priests and
Bishops. This Sacrament is received at the Sacrifice of the Mass, wherein the Church,
in the person of its Priests, in union with Christ the High Priest, offers the body,
blood, soul and divinity of Christ, to the Holy Trinity, for the salvation of men.

11. Is it necessary to honor Mary for our salvation?

A: Yes, it is necessary to honor Mary for our salvation for 2 reasons: 1) We must
imitate Jesus Christ. But Jesus loved and obeyed Mary, His Mother. 2) We must obey
the commandments. Now God commanded us to honor our father and our mother.
This includes our spiritual Mother, Mary.

12. What are our principal obligations to Mary as our Queen and Mother?
A: Our key obligations are those of children, servants and soldiers. 1) As children,
we must love Her as our spiritual Mother, with the same love by which Jesus Himself
loved Her and with which the Holy Spirit filled Her with love for us. 2) As servants,
we must labor to do what She commands, that is, we must obey the commandments
of God and the Church. 3) As soldiers, we must defend Her honor against those who
attack Her or the Mystical Body of Her Son, the Church.

13. How can we best and most assuredly fulfil God’s commandments and
assure our salvation?

A: We can best and most securely fulfil God’s commandments and assure our
Salvation by consecrating ourselves to Mary in imitation of the consecration Christ
made of Himself to Her by becoming Her Son. This will enable us to fulfil the vows of
our Baptism, and to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil. It will also give us
great courage to act as soldiers who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation, to
defend the Church and seek more souls for heaven. Mary will be to us a true Mother
and Queen, while we will be more than ever Her sons and servants.

the patronage and through the mediation of the Immaculate Virgin.

15. What is a Knight of the M.I.?

A: A Knight of the Immaculata is someone who belongs completely to Mary by

consecrating himself to Her service.

He has FOUR PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1) He must be entirely consecrated to the Immaculate Virgin, placing himself as a

docile instrument into Her hands. He will renew this often, and try to live in its
spirit.
2) He must wear the Miraculous Medal, or at least bear it upon his person.

3) He will do whatever is possible, according to his time and abilities, to convert all
men and to promote their sanctification. Especially he tries to spread the Miraculous
Medal and he recruits others to be member of the M.I.

4) He will say the MI prayer every day: "O Mary conceived without sin. Pray for us,
who have recourse to Thee, and for all those who do not have recourse to Thee,
especially for the Freemasons and for all those who are commended to Thee."
