ABSTRACT
In the Republic Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10354), informally known as
the Reproductive Health Law or RH Law, in the Philippines it is a law which
attest universal access to methods on any contraception. Albay Representative
Edcel Lagman was the author of the said Bill.
We interviewed them personally and results showed that most parents used
family planning using contraception such as; IUD, Implant, Depo Provera,
Sterilization, Natural Family Planning, Rhythm Method, Condoms, Calendar
Method and Fertility Awareness Method, many agreed that it is indeed effective
and pills is the most used method. Two methods were usually used in family
planning, the natural way and the artificial way. Results showed that most families
used the artificial family planning.

IV. CONCLUSION
Our Study shows that there are respondents who agree and disagree in using
family planning and most parents don’t know much about family planning. It was
shown that these families have an only child and does not use family planning;
they stated that they still want to add the number of their child. Therefore, family
planning depends on the family. It is how they also manage their situation despite
financial crisis. It is not lack of family planning but lack of knowledge about
family planning.
RECOMMENDATION
Family planning improves the health and well-being of women and children,
financial status and it also supports the effort to achieve a sustainable global
population. There are things to be considered in family planning and one of these
are the advantages and disadvantages of using family planning.
