Natural Essential Solution

Essential oils are highly concentrated non-water-soluble phytochemicals that are

distilled from different parts of plants. They can be distilled from leaves, roots, flowers and other

parts of plants and are very potent because of their concentration of phytochemicals. Organic

pesticides are naturally occurring chemicals that are extracted from plants, they are an excellent

alternative to synthetic pesticides. Using natural or organic essential solution has many

advantages not only to humans but also to other animals in our surroundings; Using natural

pesticides are friendlier to the environment than the synthetic pesticide. It is one way to stay

“organic” and it reduces your carbon footprint. Natural Pesticides that rely on plants' natural

defenses against insects may not only be effective and inexpensive for protecting crops, but

also safer and more environmentally friendly. Natural pesticides are safe and more compatible

with the environmental components than the synthetic pesticides. Natural essential solution

may somehow irritate human’s skin when applied but it depends on what essential solution you

will be applying onto your skin. Some essential solutions may irritate skin because of their

chemistry, these would need more dilution or might better be used by inhalation.
Thesis Statement

Cockroaches are insects that carries bacteria’s such as salmonella, staphylococcus,

streptococcus that can cause some diseases not only to humans but also to animals. They are said

to be evolving resistance the effects of pesticides or insecticides and they are also nearly

impossible to kill using pesticides alone. In this research we are studying on how to kill

cockroaches to lessen their fast-growing population. We are searching for effective ways on how

to make a natural essential solution using orange peel and oregano leaves as an insecticide.
